PUMA Cloner Hardware - The basics for a good setup!

Minimum system requirements:

Intel Dual Core 1.5 Ghz or equivalent

4 GB RAM (8 GB recommended)

.Net Framework 4.5

Powerful power supply

Updated Windows 7, 8 and 10 system

Being an administrator of your machine

Have an available PCI Express slot and a USB port

An active internet connection

A bios in "Legacy" mode

Not having a controller card with a Marvell 88SE9128 chipset

NB: during the entire installation process, you will need an active internet connection in order to access the latest Windows updates (hardware driver and.Net Framework) but also the online validations of security certificates (for drivers specifically developed by RECOVEO for the controller card)

The PUMA Cloner equipment is installed using the following supplied material:

CONTENT :

1 PUMA Cloner power supply box

1 PCI Express controller card

Power supply cables : 

1 Molex to Molex cable

1 Molex to SATA cable

1 Y cable Molex to Molex/SATA

Data cables :

1 IDE ribbon

1 SATA cable

1 Standard USB cable

Your installation should be done as shown in the illustration below:

Be sure to respect the connection of the various cables, especially the SATA cable. Use the connector that is closest to the mainboard.

1 : POWER SUPPLY CONNECTION

2 : USB CONNECTION

3 : CONTROLLER CARD CONNECTION

4 : POWER SUPPLY (MOLEX OR SATA)

5 : Y CABLE 1m

6 : PCI CARD

7 : PUMA CLONER - BACK SIDE

8 : PUMA CLONER - FRONT SIDE

9 : DATA (1m SATA cable)

10 : POWER SUPPLY (MOLEX or SATA) (CABLE 20cm)

11 : HDD

Computer off:

Install the controller card in a PCI Express slot

Connect the PUMA Cloner power supply unit to the power supply of your PC ( Y cable Molex/SATA)

Connect the Sata cable to the PCI card (to the nearest port on the mainboard).

Connect the IDE ribbon to the PCI card

Computer on:

Activate your internet connection

Connect the USB plug of the PUMA Cloner box

Wait until Windows has finished detecting components

Install the software that will install the drivers specifically developed by RECOVEO (do not install any other drivers than those provided)
